Mathieu Viannay, Meilleur Ouvrier de France and a Chef with two Michelin stars

After reaching the final in the prestigious Meilleur Ouvrier de France competition in 2000, Mathieu Viannay achieved this coveted title in 2004.The only competition he had never attempted, this recognition at the highest level gave Mathieu Viannay the confidence he needed and allowed him to contemplate the future serenely.

In 2005, the Michelin Guide rewarded the Chef and his team's work with a first star at the Lyon restaurant "Mathieu Viannay," a place that reflects his image where he can express his talent by playing the card of creative cuisine.

At the same time, the Chef acquired the iconic bouchon located in the Monts du Lyonnais, La Mère Brazier. In 2009, exactly one year after taking over La Mère Brazier and a few months after the inauguration, came another accolade! The talented Chef received a second Michelin star, bringing unexpected support!

For Mathieu Viannay, who constantly questions himself, it is a sign of confidence that brings him a certain serenity. Proud of the work accomplished, surrounded by a stable team, Mathieu Viannay acknowledges that the soul of La Mère Brazier has elevated his cuisine.

Mathieu Viannay and the Terres de Natures label: the beginning of a new story.

The collaboration between Mathieu Viannay and the Terres de Natures label is the result of an extraordinary encounter that began at the SIRHA, where the founder of Terres de Natures, Matthieu Gufflet, presented his aromatic herbs. Matthieu Gufflet, seeking a prestigious brand to develop the food aspect of Terres de Natures, was impressed by the chef's vision and ambitions. Six months later, the two men were partners. Since then, the synergy between their expertise has led to the creation of four new La Mère Brazier grocery stores, two in Paris, one in Lyon (Halles Paul Bocuse), and one in the heart of the village of Sauternes. Today, Mathieu Viannay brings his expertise and passion for gastronomy to all of the Label's establishments, offering customers an exceptional culinary experience.
