Kanalidarte

Kanalidarte was founded in 2009 on an idea by Afra Canali, initially focusing on Italian and international kinetic and optical art of the sixties and seventies. Luis Tomasello, the French group GRAV, Manzoni Klein Aubertin, the group Zero with Goepftert, Castellani, Leblanc, Manzoni, Megert, Peeters, Simeti, Spindel, Uecker, Von Graevenitz, represent the initial trajectory of the gallery.

More recently, the gallery has sought to orient its programming on an increasingly contemporary basis, resulting in recent and upcoming exhibitions of the work of Berlin-based Sophia Pompey, Jitka Hanzlova, Antonio Riello, Sinta Werner, Rasheed Araeen, Enrico T. De Paris, José Manuel Ballester, Oki Izumi, and recently established collaborations with ceramist Andrea Salvatori and well-known English artist Chila Burman.
