Verart-Véronique Smagghe
Verart-Véronique Smagghe
Véronique Smagghe, an art historian by training, opened her first space in 1990 where she presented the work of artists established in France from the 1960s to the present. Véronique Smagghe favors works on paper, collages, drawing (Pierrette Bloch and Vera Molnar) and presents particularly the work of the New Realists: François Dufrêne, Raymond Hains and Jacques Villeglé. Considering art as "a timeless supplement of soul allowing to rise and to advance in a quest of the immaterial", Véronique Smagghe, true passionate remains faithful to her artists and her commitments since 33 years.
